MAJOR problem here - Herpes Message Board

I just went to the doctor today to get tiny cuts looked at "down there". She did a herpes culture on it and that was it. Well, tonite, I'm just looking to make sure everything looks normal (which I KNOW i need to stop doing because i'm making myself more freaked out)...well...I JUST found something very weird. Near the clitoris, I found this...red dot looking thing. Looks like it COULD be a blister, but it's not raised from the skin, puffed up, or filled with anything, and it doesn't hurt unless I mess with it. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO?!?!? My skin has been incredibly dry for some reason, could it be possible that I managed to i guess, rub myself red there? I'M SOOO FREAKED OUT RIGHT NOW, I DON'T have ANYONE to talk to about this...some help would be greatly appreciated!

hey Kelley,

It's probably nothing. I did the same thing after I was diagnosed, I would constantly check myself out in the mirror. I basically created problems for myself. I think if your relating to the fold where the clit begins, it might just be a little "normal" irritation. That area is very sensitive. Just relax, it'll probably go away soon. If not then check it out ..good luck

Thanks so much for the reply and to let me know it has happened to someone else. This morning I woke up, and it was gone...so I'm sure I was just doing it to myself. I've kinda become obsessed with it all...I need to chill out. I'm waiting for my culture results which i get on Friday...kinda nervous! Did you ever get looked at? Thanks

well i was diagnosed back in march by a Znack test. But I will go back for a blood test in a month to find out what type I have. Since I started Oil of Oregano, I feel alot better. Try it out!

Hey, what a Znack test? I just got a culture done, calling in tomorrow to see my results! ahhh nervous! Is a Znack test better? What do it consist of and how do u get that kinda test?
