Shaving & OB's - Herpes Message Board

Anyone else experience sahving bikini areas and wondering if you have an OB? I trim that area with a scissor and shave around the edges of my bikini line, I don't touch the lip. But today I noticed a reddish bump kinda shiney, kinda smooth. No pain, no itch. In fact I didn't know anthing until i took a mirror to it to examine myself. I have a boyfriend who is aware of my condition and is very supportive, I take 500 to 1000 mg of Valtrex a day. What I'm wondering is ,,,is this an OB or just some pimple. So confused sometimes, is there anything Distinct really about a herpes sore? I need to know these things when I'm active. Going to the DR today just to have her take a look at it, to let me know if it's one or not...:O(

thank you...yes, went to the Dr that day and she said it was an ingrown hair. Now I have this other ingrown sour pimple thing on my labis,,(closer to the bikini line) and I'm worrired about that too. It seems a bit moist and it leaked a little clear fluid and blood. Not sure what that is...ldoesn't look like classic herpes at all. Doesn't itch, doesn't hurt,,,
