There is an alternative health center in cincinatti that has listed a herpes program to get rid of the problem for good :

The following program can be effective in getting rid of herpes permanently. If it should recur, repeat the full program. Always do the full 10 days, even if the symptoms are better before the 10 days are up.

* Lysine
* B6
* Vitamin C
* Zinc
* Monolaurin

Other therapies that may also be effective in treating this condition are Essential Oils, SRT, Ozone, UVB, HBOT, and Vitamin IV’s.

it might help get rid of the ob faster but that is about it. There is no cure for Herpes

Herpes is for life, no known "cure". Make sure if you have Herpes that you're informed and any potential partner you wish to be intimate with is also informed of the potential risks.

Herpes is a bump in life, not the end of it.

Well that is conventional wisdom, that there is "no cure" ............but how can we be completely sure there isn't any "cure" ? So many new treatments and therapies are emerging..........so how can we know that some of them won't work ?

i don't know how well it will work, but i'm gonna give it a try, i just found out i
have type 2, (first outbreak)
the weird thing is i havn't had sex for a year and a half, from the research i've been looking at is that it doesn't like a high ph level so i'm going to add zeolite
to the mix .... it's a anti viral and it raises the ph and detoxes the body
