hi all, hopefully somebody here can give me some advice. just over a week ago while on vacation I got really drunk on a night out and ended up having sex with a girl I met in a club. This is the only time I have ever done anything like this as I have a girlfriend of 5 years whom I love very much. I dont know what came over me that night. My problem now is that I'm terrified I may have caught something from this other girl, I have been totally paranoid about this and dont know if my symptoms are real or just physiological. The first couple of days after I had slight itches around the gerital area and for the last couple of days I have been getting slight pains in my testicles. The pains are totally intermittent and the itching only seems to get worse the more I think about it. I used a condom with this other girl. I have absolutely no sore or redness or discharge of any type. I intend seeing a doctor to get myself checked out but I am hoping someone here may be able to offer me further advice, i am worried sick about this.

Well you use condoms so you should be okay, although condoms don't protect 100% against herpes, it does reduce the risk, mostly if the girl didn't have an outbreak at the time. Your best be is to go to the doctor. I think that you might be thinking about it so hard that you are making yourself worried sick and any little thing that you feel you think is something. But like I said there is only one way to know, so I hope this helps.
