herpes or warts? - Herpes Message Board

Ever since I had my daughter I found a bump on the bottom of my vagina. When i was little I have had Boils all over my body so I just figured it was a boil. It wouldnt pop and it has grown into a cluster and now I am getting little bumps some of them bust some of them don't. It itches and not only that my mouth is constanly itchy..Any idea? Could it be herpes or (and) warts? they been there for more than 9 months.

sounds like you do have herpes..I am a nurse and
know that if you have a red itchy tingling bump
with lil bumps within it, it is herpes...to
know for sure, go see a doctor. This is a
life long disease, and can be transmitted thru
sex, please use protective sex...best of luck to

Although Annabella is right that the symptoms are similar to herpes, it does not usually last for 9 months without change, like you seem to describe, 72283. I would wonder about HPV (warts), but please be aware I'm not a doctor. In any case, you definitely should get them examined by a doctor and tested. Please let us know what you find out.

I don't have a medical background, so don't take this as the final word. I have both herpes and warts and believe it or not the two of them presented similar symptoms for me. (this might not be the case for everyone.) The itching around your mouth does sound like herpes, but the clusters sound like warts. Sorry to not be very much help but getting tested for both, and other stds too, if you can could help you to eliminate some of the guessing.
