HSV-1 = 0.13
HSV-2 = 0.23

well i went to my DR. and had some blood work done and that's what i got back. . my doc say that it's normal to have thoughs readings that i dont have herpes .

balanoposthitis is what i might have he says, because i am NOT cercumsized (sp?), i went to him after i noticed lil tiny red spots on the side of my penis head, and lil 1-2 other spots on the head it's self to the side. . just curious if i have HSV-2 because it say's 0.23 shouldnt it be at ZERO? help!

First thing you have to do is calm down.

I wondering why you doubt what your doc said.

Here is a suggestion, go to your local county health clinic. They usually have an STD clinic and trust me they see it all. If you don't feel comfortable with that, go see another doctor and bring your original test results.

well the thing is it's just a spot or 2 on the side of my penis head. . they dont itch, puss or anything, that's why he thinks they are just fungus or whatever, it's not really that red, more pinky redish if that makes sense. .

i just wanted to know if having .28 of hsv-2 and having the hsv-1 higher state that i have it !? . . i gotta go back in 2 weeks to see him. . right now i am using ketoconazol5 it got rid of these tiny tiny red dots that ihad on the side of the shaft just under the penis head that's why he was like it's the bala something ^_^ i hope it just fungus and it goes away . .. herpes scares me . . male: 21

Dunze, herpes scares all of us but it's not the end of the world. Susie is right: you need to calm down and stop panicking about this. Your symptoms are certainly not typical of herpes, so it's not the most likely diagnosis that would come to mind. Give your treatment for balanoposthitis a chance to work and see what happens.

The blood tests: I don't even pretend to understand the numbers of blood test results, but I do know that they have to reach a certain level before they're considered to indicate a herpes infection. If you're still worried a few months from now, get the blood test done again to be sure. In the meantime, follow your doctor's advice and treatment.

now i got another dilema

i just masterbated since i got these red dots /sores, i have masterbated before when they where there but nothing happened they got alil redder but that's bout it. .next day they were back to normal.. but ..

this time my whole penis burned, when i ejaculated i couldnt even *** completely because the BURNING sensation was too much ! and the red dot's got bigger and looks like craters now instead of 2 lil ones there a big one and 2 othere ones alil smaller.. NOW i am SCARED is this HERPES!? did i just activate it !?? or is this normal for the BALA, ifu have it and ejaculate? im freaking out, need to come down..
