| cold sore on lips, she says its herpes
my boyfriend's sister is visiting and some sores have appeared around her mouth, she calls it herpes cold sores. She uses abreva to make them go away. She says it's a virus and contagious. She is always touching the sores and I rarely see her wash her hands, especially before she eats or puts her hands in the cereal box or yesterdays taco salad lettuce. I am very nervous/anxious about this and want to know how this type of herpes can be transfered from person to person. In the last two days, I have been avoiding anything she touches and carrying around a can of spray antiseptic. I don't eat because she touched it. I can't keep doing this and am completely paranoid. Please help ease my mind.
