If i have been dx with genital herpes as it is below my waist, how can i transmit this infection, when i do not have visual signs of the herpes rash. Can i always be infectious even through salivia,and vaginal secretion as well ,my herpes was found on my butocks,first outbreak.

I Was Diagnosed On 4/21/08 And Yes You Are Contagious All The Time As For This Disease Sheds And Replicates All The Time Even When You Have No Symptoms. I Am On Daily Suppression Of Valtrex I Take A Pill Everyday And Take Lysine Vitamins. Do Some Research On Herpes There Is Alot You Need To Know.

May, I don't think saliva can give it to you unless you've just had oral sex with an infected person, then yes. contagious on lips yes also. the blisters have a very contagious liquid in them. even the scabs are contagious. and also the shedd is .
