i have type 1 herpes, where will my outbreaks happen? - Herpes Message Board

I was just diagnosed with type 1 herpes today, my first outbreak was in the genital region. Will every other outbreak happen there or will I get a traditional cold sore on the mouth sometimes? Also, my bf suspects I cheated which is not the case, any advice on how to get through this?

If you do have another outbreak then it would be more than likely in the same place. Your boyfriend could have given you this if he has herpes cold sores and then had oral sex with you. Tell him not to cast the first stone until he looks at himself as having herpes and not knowing it
