Last night my boyfriend and I were at a Halloween party.. drinking, etc... we were kissing all night long and having a great time. Toward the end of the night he rushed up to me and said "don't kiss me, I feel a coldsore" Obviously he has oral herpes and I'm very well aware of that. I love him and I would never let that be a deciding factor in being with him or not. I have never gotten a coldsore so we are extra careful when he feels something coming on.so my question is this.. today, I am very concerned seeing is how we had been kissing all night, etc and out of nowhere he felt one. I know about shedding and things like that. I specifically asked him if he had felt it earlier at all and he said he didnt at all, as soon as he started to tingle he ran up to me. The timing is just way too close and I was wondering if I could get some input on what my chances are of havig contracted it last night from him.
