please help with question about herpes - Herpes Message Board

I am almost 9 months prgnant me and my fiance been together about 3 years. About 2 months after we got together he had these 3 little tiny bumps on the side of his penis and it went away in a like a week or less. He has gotten them about three or four times since we been together. he said they don't itch or burn. An I never experienced any type of bumps or symptoms of anything. I even gave him oral sex when he had the bumps cause we thoguht it was poison ivy and I never evr noticed any bumps. Now I am about to have my daughter and don't want to pass anything to her when I deliver and I am scared maybe he has something but why wouldn't I have caught whatever it was. Please give me any input on any thing about my situation

First get the facts. Does your fiance have herpes? Bumps can be a lot of things. If he tests positive for herpes, you should get tested too. Some people have herpes virus and no symptoms. Tell your doctor but even if you have herpes but don't have symptoms, I don't think it can be passed to baby but check with your doctor.
