Hello,
I have Herpes simplex 2, genital, and I have finished the Valtrex, blister are gone. I am a female. I am wondering what can I put on the vag area to ease the pain from all of this. Cortizone, Bacitracin, Vasoline, and Dessenex(for diaper rash) is no help. It is red and raw. How long will this last.

This is so devasting to me, I got this from my cheating husband!!

Lidocaine 5% works well! It is an ointment and can be prescribed by your Dr. It works as an anesthetic and really gives some sort of relief for awhile.

Thank you I got a RX I applied and it really stung for a few minutes. I hope this doesn't last long.
