yes it is possible, herpes does have tatail signs, such as itching and burning, blister looking leisons, swollen glands in the genital area, these are common factors in an OB, but not everyone is going to react to the Virus in the same way some people may have a very mild OB where others could have a serve OB it depends on the person. It could be ingrown hair, it could be many things.. It does not mean an STD per say. My best advice would be to consult a doctor.
