Question Paranoid or...

I stupidly gave and recieved oral sex about 10 days ago now, to someone who id only just met. its the first time ive ever done anything sio stupid and i regreted it immediatley! I was drunk at the time, but im certain i saw no visible lesions on the persons mouth or genitals ( i no they dont have to be visible to contract herpes) but anyway. i was fine for the next 2-3 days. then the skin under my pubic hair became iratable and itchy, it would be on and off. 2 days later it would burn slightly when i peed. and then 2 days ago i noticed two spots, not on my penis but on either side of my waist, they were almost directly oposite eachother, they were small and red with a white head. so i checked the rest of my body and found about 8 similar looking spots on my back and one on my shoulder. they do look like normal whiteheads. they dont itch or irratate me.

so ive booked an opointment at the GUM clinic for tuesday. im so afraid its unreal. ive spent the last few days on sites like this trying to get as much knowledge as possible.

HAs anyone else had similar symptoms.... I mean not having the spots/blisters/lesions on your genital ans in other areas such as mine?

Comments would really be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi,
Just try to relax and breathe Everyone's outbreaks are different the initial OB is normally the worse but some people do not even realize when this happens because the symptoms sometimes are pushed off as something else.

It is great that you set up an appointment.. when there make sure that you ask for an IgG type specific herpes blood test.. this will let you know if you have it (that is if it was previously in your system) .. if this comes back negative or a low positive that means it could be from the incident that you mentioned at which point in time you should be retested in 4 months.

Thanks, Yeah i'll make sure to ask for that.

What does low positive mean?

That i might have it? and probably will end up with it?
I just find it so strange how it would effect anywhere else apart from the area that would have been used to contract it. (i fhtat makes sense?)

A low positive doesn't necessarily mean you have it, but may if your body hasn't built up enough antibodies and when your retested the numbers are higher. I do not want to scare you just trying to make you aware.

Yes it is strange I was going to ask if maybe you changed your soap or something but it may be 2 different things going on for you. What had made me think it may be herpes is when you mentioned you had become a bit itchy and had burning while urinating.
