If someone has them and you live with them aka a roomate . How do you protect yourself from getting them . If you are not eating off the same utensils and things but do share the household ?

how do you contract this ?

Ok. Herpes is passed through skin to skin contact, so you would have to kiss the person during an OB to come in contact with the Virus... herpes is not passed through inanimate objects, such as if someone who has it touches something and then you touch it.... No worries there.... You can not catch it from a toliet seat or shower stall. you will be just fine!
