| Re: hepes
you can contract it in a few ways, Herpes is passed when you come into contact with someone who has it through sexual contact, such as intercourse or oral contact with the infected area.. There are two types HSV1 and HSV2, the first is where you would break out with cold sores on and around your lips and chin area, this can be passed by kissing or by preforming oral sex, this is also the less agressive and you tend to have fewer OB's. the second is Genital and is passed by having unprotected sex with someone who is infected, be mindful just because it is in the genital area it is not limited to the genitals, you can have OB's in you buttocks, inner thighs and rectum, so when having an OB take care to keep the boxer short area as we refer to it, covered. Both types can be passed from lips to genitals and vise versa. You can also pass herpes when no symptoms are present. Herpes is passed by skin to skin contact. I hope this helped. there is also a handbook on the subject you can download for more information..
