| Safe to kiss another HSV-1 person without spreading??
Hello,
I've been doing a lot of research on spreading of HSV-1. I'm super paranoid about it, actually.
So my question is, if I kiss someone who also has HSV-1 orally, is it possible that it will worsen my infection? For example, can he spread the virus to a new place on my lips where it wasn't before? My doctor said if you've got it, you've got it, so you can't get it again, and I suppose that's true, but it doesn't exactly answer the question of whether it can be made worse...
