| please help, i think i may have hepes
This is my first time posting and I’m a little nervous, but I really need some help and support right now. Sorry if this post is a little long but I don't want to leave anything out. I've always been very careful about having safe sex. I got on birth control before the first time and have always used a condom. I've only ever had three partners. The last guy i had sex with wasn't really my boyfriend. It was sort of a drunken mistake but we're friends and I know him to be a good guy. We used protection but i think the condom may have broken. Ever since I’ve been on birth control I’ve had yeast infections and I had one when we had sex. I'm not sure if having sex made it worse or if i actually have herpes. I have terrible itching and swelling down there, and cottage cheese like discharge. I couple days ago i noticed a few reddish bumps but they don't hurt at all and they haven't ruptured or "crusted over" like I’ve read herpes bumps are supposed to. They are sort of hard to the touch, but not painful at all. Before i thought it might be herpes, i popped one and white pimple like fluid came out. I have a problem with ingrown hairs, but I’m afraid they aren’t just that. I made an appointment with my gynecologist for Tuesday, but I’m really scared. I'm in college and my friends have always made fun of people with herpes. I can't really tell them what I’m going through and i can't tell my family either. I know it isn't the end of the world if the test comes back positive. I know it's a relatively common condition, but i need someone to talk to about it. I would really appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thanks so much!
