Well the other day, one day after having unprotected sex with my girlfriend, I noticed a bunch of tiny little red bumps only on the head of my penis. No pain, no itching, no discharge or anything like that. Since we trust each other we always have unprotected sex and nothing like this has ever happened before.
Would a dermatologist be able to tell me what this might be ( I already have one because of my acne)

Could this be herpes?

A dermatologist could tell you if it was herpes or maybe something else. It would be odd if it were herpes and you have no pain or itching. The best thing to do would to go and see your doctor.

Thanks alot for your reply I dont think it was herpes since the bumps disapeared after a few days. Maybe my penis just got irritated after a night of rough sex. I do have another question though. I believe I have HSV1 on my lips because I get very mild cold sores (I think thats what they are but Im not sure) on the edge of my lips often. Does this mean I can never give her oral even when I dont have any cold sores. I dont want to use a dental dam either that's just weird. I feel bad though cause she gives me oral and I "dont return the favor" because I'm scared of infecting her if I do have HSV1 on my mouth.
