 Help! New to HV2!
I was Diagnosed 1/10/13 with HV2, The Doctor took swabs tested for Viral, fungal and bacterial infections but eyeballing it he said it looks like text book HV2. Started on 800mg Acyclovir twice a day for 5 days, didn't seems to help much. Except blistering seemed to halt. Still had itching like mad and not to be gross but my skin was sloughing off like Brie cheese. Is this normal for HV2?
A week later Dr called back and said only thing swabs showed was a strep infection on my vulva - put me on antibiotics. Have been on them almost three days and I am developing more and more blisters in new areas, the skin sloughing is the same and the blisters which seem to be spreading and traveling further back and on my thigh creases on the outside of my labia.
Can you have compound outbreaks? or do all the blisters come at once?
I want to get this undercontrol so I can take my life back!!
