Upset Stomach Using Cholest-off and... - High Cholesterol Message Board

"total Control" margarine subsitute.

I have been using it for about 5 days and it hasnt bothered me until I increased the amount to what the labels recommend. Now my stomach is upset...not bad, but enough that I feel "blah"

Does anyone else use these things and have you had similar stomach troubles.

i've never had upset stomach from cholestoff , why are you even taking that margarine for if your taking cholestoff

I like margarine on my toast, so I thought I'd use the Total control instead of regular stuff. Do you think thats a mistake?

I use Take Control every single day. I use it on baked sweet potatoes and toast. It doesn't really have any kind of taste to me, and i don't know yet if it is lowering my cholesterol. I've never had an upset stomach from it. Atleast, i don't think i have, i take zestroric(lisinopril & hctz) for bp and it sometimes causes upset stomach.

i don't think it's a mistake but i would quit using it and see if stomach problems go away, and if that don't work then quit taking cholestoff for a couple days and see what happens
