| Re: How to lower high Triglyceride,
Reduce or eliminate your consumption of refined carbohydrates (white flour, processed foods, etc.) and fructose (sugar found primarily in fruits and high fructose corn sweetener). Fructose has been found to significantly raise triglyceride levels and is a major contributor to insulin resistance. Increase your intake of protein (beans, legumes, nuts, eggs, dairy, etc.). Increase your intake of natural fats including saturated fats like those found in coconut oil, monounsaturated fats like those found in nuts and olive oil, and polyunsaturated fats like those found in fish oils. Avoid trans-fatty acids from partially hydrogenated vegetable oils.
