Another bit of suspicion was the "money back guarantee if not satisfied" AND THEN throwing in that you needed lipid profiles BEFORE AND AFTER...some guarantee! Having to PROVE the supplements didn't work is the proper work of the FDA and a courtroom and HARDLY a "satisfaction guarantee,"
Since they claim good benefits ising 2100 mg. EPA + HPA a day, why not just calibrate your fish oil to get that amount? I'm tempted to up mine somewhat also. Perhaps that 1000 mg. "guidline" can be improved upon with people who "need it more."
On the home testing...there was a regular on the boards some months ago (now MIA) whose name escapes me at the moment...began with Pf (Pflug, PFlag???)...or Pz???? (I hang my head...It's going to KILL me all day trying to remember.)
Anyhoo,
He got a test system that he was confident with and I THINK it was in the $100-200 range. I also found a discount place for the test strips that cost something like $.40 per component but this is all very vague since it was some time ago and I never pursued buying the rig.
Keep searching, donsabi...maybe you can dig it up. If I remember more I'll holler!
