Report adverse drug reactions to FDA - High Cholesterol Message Board

I've read from time to time on this board the belief that adverse drug reactions to cholesterol lowering medications are likely going unreported. This is just a reminder that if you believe you have had a serious reaction and don't believe your doctor has reported it to the FDA, you can report it yourself. Here is a link to do that.

Thanks for the link - I just accessed it and finally submitted a report on my reaction to Lipitor/Tricor.

It didn't take long to complete the forms - about 5-10 minutes, and now at least there is another report for the FDA to consider.

I guess that will keep me busy when the rainy week begins in NYC! Gosh, if I thought long and hard for others, perhaps I could stand a MONTH of rain!

There are MANY, MANY really awful drugs/supplements/ "cures" in the pharmacopeia...and many quack "cures" in the health food stores.
