I agree with Jacqueline and have an additional recommendation.
Take two 500mg capsules or 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon daily.
Cinnamon lowers triglycerides and controls blood sugar too.
Simple carbs, especially sugar, are the major cause of high triglycerides.
