| Strange -2weeks+ Off Statins-Nighttime Chills
It's been a little over two weeks since I took any statin ( I was on them for over 8 years). Due to muscle pain and burning I had to go off of them-with my Dr's approval. My legs are doing really good and my back much better...but I continue to wake up during the night with chills. No fever, in fact, temperature between 95.8-97.5. I have to drink some hot tea to get warmed up. The chills only happen at night while sleeping. This started right after I went off the statin. Anybody heard of this? I've read a lot of strange things concerning statins and coming off of them-but not this.
I appreciate the input from anyone who would like to weigh in here, I've learned a lot from this board. Thanks.
