Your triglycerides are the main problem. For most people, cutting back on carbohydrates often results in lower triglyceride levels. Mostly, you need to curb your intake of refined carbohydrates, such as breads, pasta, and other white flour products. Also, try to avoid junk foods such as candy, cake, donuts, soda, and anything else that has a high sugar content. Eat more protein rich foods, such as beef, fish, and chicken. Supplementing with fish oil can also lower triglycerides.
