Hi, no I don't have any links, plus many links aren't allowed. Just do a web search on foods for lowering cholesterol. Another good search is for low GI foods, that is very god for your Trigs and blood sugar.
Try reading thru some of the posts on the board, folks have some great advice on some foods. Mainly stay away from anything that has Trans. fats, eat alot of low GI veggies and fruits, eat plenty of fiber like oatmeal, beans, whole wheat bread etc. If U use margarine, look at the label for any Trans. fats. Promise heart healthy is a good spread, and not expensive. Definitely stay away from fast food places, white bread, and go easy on pasta and rice, but they do have wheat pasta and brown rice, so that would be a good thing to try. I know I'm missing alot of things, but I'm sure other folks will answer U with some other things to try and do. Also avoid as much prepackaged stuff, God they shove all sorts of preservatives in that stuff.
When U look up the GI (glycemic index) foods, also look at the glycemic load, as it tells U how fast certain foods turn into sugar in the body. Some of your good fats are in nuts, just don't overdo, as they have calories too. Many here, including myself have tried 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon, reg. stuff U buy for your spice rack, each day, and green tea. Some can't stand it, others like myself love it. I buy the Bigelow with lemon green tea. It is all hit and miss, trust me, I have been at it for 5 years, but with alot of help from folks here, I'm doing fairly well.
Hopefully this has helped, and good luck......
