Anyone know if Crestor increases bleeding? - High Cholesterol Message Board

I see that there is an explicit warning not to mix Crestor with blood thinning medications, but does anyone have any experience with Crestor acutally thinning the blood on its own? I bit my lip today accidentally and pulled a hang nail (yes, bad habbit) and both bled like freakin crazy! I am not on any types of blood thinning medications.

It's day 3 on 10mg, and I feel ok i guess. Im starting to get a little freaked about all the bad hype this drug has on the net. i havn't really read anything good about it yet, but my doctor says its "the best"

For those not on anticoagulants like Coumadin, there is no likelihood of increased bleeding from rosuvastatin.

For something good to read aboput it on the net, here's an opinion:
CRESTOR WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE if you are at high risk of atherosclerosis.
There, now you read something good!
