Hey boubou...I just had my #'s checked and mine is mid 200's. I'm not overweight and do eat healthy, but could do better at times. Check your family history and see if high cholesterol runs in the family. It does in mine and I am making more changes...I'm already eating egg whites, fruits, trying to eat more veges, no soda except for Sprite Zero which I mix with Raspberry Vodka at times, low fat cottage cheese mixed with fruit and in the past I've been eating the following, but now plan on cutting out bread, lunch meats, cheese, pasta and other carbs but not cutting out carbs all together. I'm even going as far as to cut out beer, even light beer, Martini's and Margarita's. But if that doesn't help, I have a feeling meds are in the picture and I'm only 37, 5' 5", 132 this morning, but sometimes 128 (it varies that much daily), athletic average female and do not have kids yet. Don't get discouraged! I'm not, yet, but you can only do so much! I refuse to kill myself in the gym...I'm already there at least 3 days a week doing 30 to 45 min cardio and resistance training when I'm out of town (I travel for work). Of course when I'm not traveling, it's easier to get in the gym more. Very frustrating!! Good luck at your next testing!!
