Low carb is a good diet, but by you numbers it seems your HDL is lowering and LDL increasing. You need to get you HDL up. The higher the better. Try fish oil for it. It also help lower the LDL a little, too. Below 70 is best but the lower the better. Definitely take fish oil daily. Also, a low fat diet. Margarine instead of butter, baked or broiled instead of fried foods, etc. Try it for at least 3 months and get it checked again if you can. Then you'll know where you stand with your diet.
