Looney, are they sure those test results are right? I was always told to get your LDL # you would divide your Trigs. by 5 to get an average, then take your TC, subtract your HDL plus your Trig average to get your LDL #. If your divide your Trigs. of 82 by 5 U get 16.4, so if you take your TC of 270 subtract HDL of 48 and Trig. average of 16.4 U get 206, not 227. If they could be wrong on this, who knows if the other numbers are right. I would definitely question those test results. I know even 206 LDL is high, but there seems to be a huge difference in your numbers. Good luck, and let us know how things go.
