i am only a 36 year old female and these are my numbers..
total chol- 280
hdl- 45
ldl-156
trigs-250!!!

i do not eat very badly either.. do you think i am too bad for natural solutions and would red rice yeast be a good choice for me. i refuse to take statins at this point

rene, in April my TC was 288, LDL 200, Triglycerides 141, and HDL 60. I started taking 600mg. daily Nature's Plus Extended Release RYR, and when I was re-tested in June, my TC was 176, HDL 46, LDL 110, and Triglycerides 101. With no side effects. I am thrilled with my results. Especially since my dr. has been pressing me to get on statins for over two years now.
