I wanted to address the above comment you made a bit back and ask you what was your choice? I think "namelessme" said he tried the krill oil once, at 2.0 grams/daily for 2 months, then 1.2 grams/daily for 3 thereafter. No changes in HDL levels for him.
I might also try adding Curcumin supplements to raise the HDL. |
Hi Mayor,
Actually I'm swinging in my hammock between two steel poles on a next to deserted beach, with my laptop in one hand and a double Bacardi and coke in the other.....Jealous??
No, only kidding, only went to Gozo (Not too far from Crete actually, should have got you a couple of bottles of Extra Virgin (duty free)

) for ten days. Now relaxing at home before I start all over again, waiting for the next break.
Her indoors (the boss) has, like Connie tried various concoctions to raise her HDL. In the end she found that EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) poured and mixed with all our salads and daily dose of 'oat bran' worked for her, but not for me in raising HDL.
As Lenin once said on this forum, he preferred the wine, as do I. Like yourself I still have one of three kids still at home, who unfortunately scrounges my red wine money.
Personally, I'm happy with my ratios, as you should be with yours.
So if you want an oily brown skin, go for the 'evoo' and curcumin. It may even raise your HDL.
Taffyboyo.
