Cindeerella:
When I was in my non-exercise portion of my life, my cholesterol profile was much worse than yours (lower HDL than 34), and slightly higher LDL than 104, plus my triglycerides were up in the 400s prior to medication.
With a little exercise (even walking) daily, it will more than likely lower your triglycerides, raise HDL a bit and probably lower HDL a little. At a slow pace you won't fall over and die, true?
Of course, this is assuming that you don't change your current diet in a negative direction. You can also obtain additional benefit if you have any excess weight to lose. As Arizona explained in a recent post, the less excess poundage you carry, combined with the more you exercise translates to more rapid use of carbs, and a lower triglyceride reading.
