Crestor - High Cholesterol Message Board

Has anybody had any experience with the drug Crestor. My doctor is taking me off lipitor 20mg (lowered my cholestoral significantly, but still a little ways to go) because my test showed something in regards to indicator for muscle damage being high on tests. Starting Crestor 10mg tomorrow and I have been told that this should work as well as Lipitor with possibly fewer side effects. Just want to know if someone can shed any light on Crestor ?

Hi darock,
My Dr. put me on 10mg Crestor about 8 weeks ago as a trial after having bad side effects while trying other drugs. So far this seems to be the Magic Fix. My Cholestral went from 308 to 160 and my Trigs went from 449 to 189 in about a month! I have not had any side effects on this drug so far. Hope this helps.
