I was sick and tired of paying a hundred plus dollars for cholesterol drugs like Lipitor and Colestid that I end not not taking because of side effects. I tried Pravachol and the same thing happened. So this time I email the makers of Pravachol and told them I could not take their medicine without getting pretty bad muscle aches, and asked for a refund. To my surprise they sent me a check for $138.

That's great! But I suppose Bristol-Myers Squibb can afford it. After all, they made about 1.6 billion dollars from the sale of this drug over the past year.

I always wondered whether drug makers were standing behind their "satisfaction guaranteed" claims. Good to hear that they are.
