Note that belly fat is generally considered more dangerous to your health than body fat elsewhere, like in your hips.
Note that it is also possible to not be overweight, but still have too much body fat for good health, if you do not have much muscle mass. Conversely, you can be overweight, but not be at added risk of obesity related conditions like diabetes and high cholesterol if your extra weight is muscle rather than fat.
