Re: Vitamin E and CHD

Vitamin E is excellent for heart health. It's also great at decreasing inflammation. 800 mg. a day can reduce CRP (cardio-inflammation) by more than 50 %. It also has a blood thinning effect, which could be a problem if you take aspirin or blood thinners. Also, always purchase Natural Vitamin E (known as D-Alpha Tocopherol) not (DL-Alpha Tocopherol) which is Synthetic Vitamin E. The results of the Synthetic Vitamin E have not been as good as the Natural E. Vitamin C is another potent antioxidant, which greatly improves heart function and fights off many systemic infections and diseases.
