| Lopid's
I am a 33 year old male that has recently been diagnosed with High Cholesterol. My total was 250, Triglycerides 531 and HDL 41. They did not give me a reading of my LDL. In addition to the high cholesterol I also suffer from high blood pressure and am currently taking atenelol and enalopril for this. Like most people I am sure, I am very weary of taking meds for these because I think that the long term side effects are danderous. Well my doc has prescribed Lopid's for my Tri's and thinks that this along with dietary considerations will lower my levels. Is anyone familiar with this med and its effectiveness? Does anyone with my experiences above have any advice that may have worked for them?
