LDL particles

What are the numbers to be worried about in small particle count. Is there a range wherein we don't need to be concerned.

Re: LDL particles

The range is irrelevant.

Smaller particles of LDL are now thought to be more likely to cause plaque deposits in the linings of arteries as compared to larger LDL particles.
Smaller particles of HDL are less prone to gather circulating LDL to return to the liver.

Yack.
