I came back from a test last month and high cholesterol on total and tri. and high on bad cholesterol as well.
Been searching online and I know there are a quite few supplements that may lower down cholesterol.
What do you recommend? How do you take them? How long does it take to see result? Can you give me a list of the supplements you are talking? Also, by taking too many, would it be bad?
So far... I come up with this on my dietary supplements..
Red Yeast Rice pill 1200mg (2 times a day)
coq10 100mg (1 time a day)
Fish oil pill 1200mg with 360mg omega-3 (2 times a day if I don't eat fish)
Garlic pill 1000 mg (2 times a day)
Ginger root 550 mg ( 1 or 2 times a day depending on what I eat .. for digesting)
Multivitamin gums - to eat once a day...
Also, I have cinnamon with honey water in the morning..
Also, I am doing 20 mins. (until I sweat exercise about 5 or 6 times a week)
And I am taking to add Cinnamon extract and/or Green tea extract.. but it may be too much
