That's a wonderful question kdese.
I too have thought how arrogant these "scientists" are to consider blood pressure a disease state. Mankind developed the response for SURVIVAL just like every other evolutionalry trait and maybe walking around pharmocologically mummified to a 100/60 BP is not the best idea.
I for one am certain that my blood pressure spikes helped me develop a collateral circulation when I needed one badly and perhaps save my life.
High blood pressure is nature's way of FORCING food and oxygen to places where it is needed and deficient...screwing with that response is BOUND to have consequences.
