hello everyone

I was wondering if it was normal for your blood pressure to drop upon rising?
For instance I can be sitting down and bp will be say around 109/80 then when I stand up it drops to 100/64..Is this normal? Ive been talking to a few people on the addison board and they say its a sign of adrenaline problems..So I was just curious as to what some others would say..Take Care....

Re: hello everyone

I think that's normal. Are you taking any blood pressure meds? Many of them warn you to get up slowly as that you might pass out from standing too quickly.

Re: hello everyone

It is normal if you are on meds. How do you know it drops with those numbers specifically?
