I've read that the definition of hypotension is if blood pressure is 90/60 or below.
Even with a number like that,
if it does not cause symptoms...fainting, dizziness, lightheadedness... it's generally considered to be a sign of good cardiovascular health and nothing to worry about.
Basically though, if one's BP is below the cut-off "optimal" of 120/80...let's say at what seems like a healthy 116/68..... but they have
symptoms, then that could be a signal that that's too low
for them.
