any ideas for water retention caused by Cardizem CD??
I am so frustrated. The medical field is so complex. they kill us trying to cure us..... ha ha. They got my blood pressure down a bit with
Cardizem CD but guess what. I am retaining fluid and because I am allergic to sulfa, i doubt if there is a diuretic out there for me. Any ideas? What's good for this? I need to get moving, cause I am gaining weight and all those drugs make me sleepy ....i would appreciate input. thanks

Unfortunately, the edema of calcium channel blockers isn't relieved by diuretics very well.
Your only alternative might be to switch away from the Cardizem.
