Yesterday I had a carotid duplex ultrasound and I haven't heard the results as of yet. I've been told by several people that if they haven't contacted me yet, that should be good news. My friends were saying that if the results were serious, I would have been contacted by now.
However, it seems to me that they (meaning my physicians - primary care & cardiologist) would have called to let me know there was nothing to worry about. They were aware of how concerned I was about this.
How long does it take for an ultrasound to get back to the doctors? I thought they would have rec'd it back by now. Should I be concerned I haven't heard anything?
Just wanted to let everyone know that the visit with my cardiologist went ok this afternoon. The ultrasound was negative! No evidence of any plaque was found. No blockage, nothing. I can't tell you how relieved I am.
I am grateful to God for this blessing, and would like to thank everyone on this board for your support. It means alot to me!
