lbp: wondering about relation to heart bpm

Hi, I'm probably worrying about nothing, but I have good systolic and diastolic pressure (112/68), but my heart rate is 83, which seems kind of high. I'm not sure how to interpret these results.

it seems like my heart rate is slightly elevated (i'm a 24 year old male) but exerts low(er) pressure which means that my heart is working harder to do less, which doesn't seem good. Any opinons? These readings have been consistent for the last several years (as far as i can remember actually).

systje,

Rest assured that there is absolutely NO problem with that combo of numbers. A nice low BP and a very average heart-rate for a young guy!

Re: lbp: wondering about relation to heart bpm

Well thanks. I'll just keep an eye on it as I get older. If my heart rate goes up while my pressure stays the same, I'll know something's off.
