I had a routine follow up with my dr today. In Feb. I was put on Avapro for my HBP. The first follow up I was 130/90. She increased me to 300 of the Avapro. Today, at the Drs, with white coat, I was 130/80!!!! I will be 44 yrs in a couple of weeks. I was diagnosed 3 yrs ago at the age of 41. My first Dr put me on verapamil. My office visit BP was 150-160/90;s. He would scratch his head and sit there and wonder what to do. I said How about a different med. His answer was Oh this one is doing its job. I gave him a year to bring my BP down and it didnt happen. This is my 3rd Dr. she is young, maybe 30. The other was maybe 60. The first med she gave me worked! I have prayed and prayed and prayed for Gods healing for my BP. I didnt know where the healing was??? Today I sit here with healthy BP! It took 3 years of praying and 3 doctors!

What are your at-home BP's like?

I dont have a at home monitor. I dont have much confidence of taking it the right way. When i was under the other quack, I borrowed a monitor and it freakded me out. That Dr really upset me and caused my white coat to be worse. As I gain confidence, I might take it at home. My Dr is not pushing me because she doesnt want me to get anxiety and make the BP worse. We are just going by what is at her office right now. I have used the drug store, but those machines are wacko. IMO.

Avapro is great!! What's good about it too is that it doesn't collect in the kidney's and liver and you don't risk damage! Any side effects? I don't know ONE person who has side effects from Avapro - it's a miracle pill!

It cost me about $35 buckaroos but my health is worth it. No side effects what so ever! A lot of people complain that they have to take meds. I am thankful for that pill everyday.
