My B.P is low

Dear all,

My g.p said my bp is low but not dangerously low,so what dose that mean? iam not on any medication for it but dosnt that mean that not enough oxygen is getting around my body why iam tired all the time ect with fibromylagia ect.

Can any one dhed any light on this please.

dolphin,

Low blood pressure can cause your weakness, tiredness because your muscles may not be getting all the nutrients and oxygen that they need, as you said.

I doubt that your FM type pains have much to do with your BP.

What is your BP reading? Just wondering because I feel mine is also too low. Im tired, foggy, nauseous and cold feeling all the time.

I've had low blood pressure all of my life, and the doctors always think it's great. However, from time to time, it gets so low I lose all energy and feel a bit off. Last month it had been running mid 80's over mid 50's, and I started to feel bad. I realized I had been eating no salt in my diet, so I added a little and my blood pressure came back to my normal -- mid 90's over mid 60's. I don't advocate adding salt for everyone, but if you're like me -- someone who eats mostly natural, homemade stuff and none of the processed or fast food stuff -- it may be necessary to add some to your food to feel better.
